WestJet creatively found a way to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty, ensure dedicated travelers and increase self-promotion. Through this act, that surely warmed the hearts of all involved, they spread the WestJet message of caring for their customers. By filming the entire experience and posting it to their Youtube Channel WestJet is engaging in social media marketing. Although the putting this together would have cost some money, this goes to show, that yet again, social media marketing can be effective, at a very minimal cost.
